Our Story
Ohana Structural Engineering PLLC was founded on the belief that strong relationships build stronger structures. After more than 15 years in technical and project management roles on some of the world's most iconic buildings, Christian DeFazio established Ohana to deliver the same level of technical precision and large-scale thinking to clients who value clear communication, collaborative design, and creative problem-solving. During his tenure at Thornton Tomasetti, Christian gained invaluable experience working on and leading both national and international projects. His portfolio includes high-profile work such as the United States Courthouse in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; the Tilt attraction at 360 Chicago (John Hancock Building); the renovation of David Geffen Hall at the Lincoln Center in New York City; and Abu Dhabi Global Market Square (formerly Sowwah Square).
